Teach with an International Degree?

To paraphrase a recent poster to the Grad School Forum:
I hold a Master's degree, from Britain, and seek elementary school teacher's certification. Will a British master's degree qualify as an American masters? How do I get certified quickly?Share your thoughts and see my response.
