Should You Apply to Graduate School with an Imperfect Application?

If you are applying to graduate school you are probably aware that most graduate programs are competitive and set the admissions bar high. Applications require standardized test scores (like the GRE, MCAT , or GMAT), admissions essays, and letters of recommendation. Applicants are expected to be excellent students with high GPAs, relevant experience, and excellent standardized test scores. Many students do not have the full package. In other words many applicants have less than perfect applications. Some have low GPAs, low GRE scores, or no relevant experience. Are you in this position? Should you apply to graduate school with a less than perfect application?
