Anticipate Admissions Interview Questions
Thursday January 22, 2009
Congratulations! You've been invited to interview for a slot in the graduate program of your choice. All applicants are nervous -- that's to be expected and some anxiety can even help you by keeping you on your toes. Avoid major anxiety - the paralyzing kind -- by being prepared. Aside from learning about the agenda for your visit (e.g, who you will meet) and learning as much about the program as possible, the best way to prepare for your interview is to anticipate possible questions. Here are some common questions. Consider your responses in advance so that you can think quickly on your feet -- and ace your interview.
