Wiped Out with a Cold?

Saturday January 10, 2009
I am! We all get sick once in a while - and the best way to treat a cold is with rest. However, resting at home might help cure your cold, but leave you behind in your academic work. Minimize the effect of missing class time with a few tips:

1. Treat your cold quickly and effectively (so that it doesn't linger and cause you to miss more school)
2. Get a friend to tape record the professor's lecture (with his or her permission).

4. Check out these specific tips on what to do when you miss class.
5. If you find that you're behind and don’t know how to catch up, seek the professor's help.
