Sample Letters of Recommendation

Anyone who teaches or supervises students will eventually be asked to write a letter of recommendation for a job, internship, practicum, or even graduate study. Asking for a letter of recommendation is tough, yes, but just wait until you're on the other side and need to write one. These samples can give you an idea of what's entailed (and are useful for students who want to learn about what they're requesting faculty to do):
